Flipp Salon and Apothecary Exhibition
A selection of my work is on display starting in May '17 in the lovely Flipp Salon and Apothecary in Providence, RI. The funky, pop-art vibe of the space plays off wonderfully against all of my vintage ladies. Come take a look and get a fresh 'do by the one of the talented stylists while your at it!
THE HOUSE OF AMA AND FINE ART COLLECTION
A selection of my art is on display and for sale at Restored By Design, a lovely boutique located in grand Newport RI! The display ties together my fine art with my newest creative outlet - THE HOUSE OF AMA.
Inspired by the Ama, real life mermaids of Japan that dive for pearls hidden deep in the sea, this collection offers both classic and statement garments and accessories made solely from exquisite natural materials such as linen, cashmere, silk - the pearls of the wardrobe.
Displaying my art alongside the curated garment collection is a unique opportunity to see the evolution of a fine artist to fine garment collector - all of my artwork incorporates garments and explores the nature of textile in different media, while the AMA collection highlights the art found in garments themselves.

At the reception for Opposites I was presented with the Juror's Award for my entry Highboard Diving Diptych. The only artist to be awarded out of 144 submissions by the prestigious Juror Dominic Molon - the Richard Brown Baker Curator of Contemporary Art at Rhode Island School of Design - what a wonderful way to kick off 2016!
